Of Mice and Men

Read it on the trip to Spiel Essen, October 2026. Emmanuel from Akileos also liked it. Story of Lenny and George - Lenny the dumb brute, George the clever and loyal friend who had to shoot Lenny after he killed Curly's wife by accident.

Books I read at the tail end of 2025

Such a great series.  Turns out that as a kid I had not read the first two books in the series! A gift from Daniel Neugebauer at Essen Spiel. Fun read.  Latest issues of several series I am currently reading.  The deluxe color versions. Great stories.  Fun Kirkman adaptation of the classic.  Awesome. Recommendation from Phil Reed after PAXU dinner. In Ventura, Haven went to the comic book store and bought several floppies to keep it going, plus the Absolute Superman trade.  I love Jolly’s stories. Current storyline has Crutch running Crime Nation campaign in the back room with real thugs, plus Pete and a few other gamers. Hilarious as always. I also love the fact that the monkey is now vaping!
