Conan Scourge of the Serpent
 |
| Another weird time traveling Conan story by Jim Zub, kind of like the one he did last year for the Black Stone series. Mixes Conan, Kull, and that other modern adventurer character. I’m not a huge fan. |
Books I read at the tail end of 2025
Such a great series. Turns out that as a kid I had not read the first two books in the series! A gift from Daniel Neugebauer at Essen Spiel. Fun read. Latest issues of several series I am currently reading. The deluxe color versions. Great stories. Fun Kirkman adaptation of the classic. Awesome. Recommendation from Phil Reed after PAXU dinner. In Ventura, Haven went to the comic book store and bought several floppies to keep it going, plus the Absolute Superman trade. I love Jolly’s stories. Current storyline has Crutch running Crime Nation campaign in the back room with real thugs, plus Pete and a few other gamers. Hilarious as always. I also love the fact that the monkey is now vaping!
